Calvert CNC Laser

HOME

From aircraft to racecars, Calvert CNC Laser provides custom parts for small or large projects/runs. CAD design for your sketches/specs, prototype parts for testing, material prep, laser cutting, press brake bending (up to 8 bends, depending on material), quality control and spot verification, and the ability to make changes/updates to your design at any point in the process. Whether you’re looking for a single custom part for your car or thousands of parts for a fleet of aircraft, Calvert CNC Laser can take your idea from design to reality.

CAD DESIGN

Calvert CNC Laser can turn your sketches into precise CAD 3-D designs. Alternatively, you can bring your complete design for fabrication. Updates and revisions done quickly and efficiently on site. Prototype parts may be fabricated and submitted for evaluation, adjusted if necessary until the finished parts meet required specifications before going into production.

CNC LASER CUTTING

State of the art Bystronic CNC Laser can handle material from .25″ to 1.5″ (1.25″ stainless). Completed flat parts may be as small as 1.5″x2″ or as large as 10’x10′. Materials: mild steel, stainless, chromoly, aluminum, inconel. Uses oxygen for cutting, flexible, cleaner, more precise cuts than other gasses.

PRESS BRAKE BENDING

Bystronoic Smart Press Brake can bend from 1/2 inch to 6 inch steel, aluminum, chromoly, inconel alloys. Precise bending up to 60 degree acute angles. can do complete box bends as small as 2″x2″. Basic capacity: Up to 5/16″ thick, up to 10 foot length. Bending parameters depend on metal type, thickness, size of part to be bent.

QC & FINISHING

Once the prototype has been approved and production begins, parts are spot checked at all phases of manufacture to ensure spec consistency. If necessary, we will deburr, remove slag, to prepare your parts for your final finishing, such buffing, powder coat, paint, or other finishes.
